Traditional Timepieces for the new millennium
Chaney Instrument Co. introduces the New London brand of clocks, a
completely new line of mantle, wall and table top clocks designed
specifically for those who want a high-quality, traditional
timepiece. The collection is expected to sell through traditional
up-market retail outlets, including high-end gift, clock, and
jewelry shops as well as furniture, luggage and other specialty
retailers.
The
collection will be introduced with a catalog in mid-June. Product
will be available in gift showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas, Bedford,
Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles, Columbus, Kansas City, and Seattle.
The
New London collection is styled after the enduring traditions of 18th
and 19th century American and English clock masters.
Designs in the collection reflect Federal, Shaker, Mission, and Arts
& Crafts styles. The line includes wall, mantle, and table top
clocks. Many of the clocks offered feature solid hardwood
construction, intricate detailing, pendulums, and 4/4 Hermle
strike-and-chime movements.
