Sure Grip® Tools Take The Guesswork Out Of Grilling
Backyard chefs can cook burgers to perfection and serve up safety at the same time
Lake Geneva, Wis.- There's nothing better than a
hamburger right off the grillexcept one you know is safe to serve to family and friends. That's why Chaney
Instrument Co. developed the Sure Grip Burger Probe and the Sure Grip Fork. These patented, innovative tools bring
scientific accuracy to the grilling process and assuage concerns about e-coli and other dangerous food-borne bacteria.
"The USDA says ground beef is the food that poses the greatest
risk of disease transmission to humans," says Pat Devlin, Chaney's general manager. "We're proud to offer two devices
that give customers the convenience Chaney's products are known foras well as peace of mind that their food
is safe to eat."
The patented burger probe features a unique design with a bent
tip and 3/8-inch insertion guide that allows easy readings from the center of a burger patty. The long stem with
easy-to-read, non-slip handle helps ensure you don't burn your hand at the grill. The fork features the same Sure Grip handle.
Both models transmit the exact temperature to a large, easy-to-read
LCD panel. A switch allows the user to choose a preferred reading in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
